You know those moments in life where you are in the middle of a peak emotional experience…
and you’re not quite sure if it’s really happening, or it’s just a dream?

Yesterday very much felt like that when there was a shooting at my children’s school!

First we got a set of emails and phone calls that the school was on lockdown…

and then an hour or two later – they told all of us parents to come down to the school, with our photo ID’s, and that our children would be released one at a time to a family member on file with a photo ID.

and as we’re hearing about “9 gunshots were fired”…

We finally get to pickup our daughter and son…

and our daughter is explaining how a woman who had been walking her dog, burst into her classroom and pleaded to the teacher for help.

Over the coming minutes, secret messages (code words) were spoken over the intercoms, and my daughter’s entire class was rushed from their classroom into the library…

where they would be huddled together over the next hour.

My youngest son was also there… and he explained how the school lights were all cut out…

and how they all were hiding – there in the dark.

Basically – the stuff of parent’s nightmares!

Do you remember the “Columbine” shooting?
🙁

I was working at Lockheed Martin at the time of that shooting… and many of my co-workers fled work that day because they had children attending Columbine.

I was only 24 years old at the time of Columbine… but it was a reminder of just how precious life is…

and literally being just a few miles from Columbine high school, I would never forget that day and it’s lessons for the rest of my life.

Life is short & precious.

All of our children are okay – in fact – all of the children at the school are okay!

Long story short is that a car jacker was being trailed by several car theft authorities…

and he happened to choose to make a stand right in the playground/park of my children’s school!

(and unfortunately for whatever choices he made, he was shot dead.)

So remember this…

You never know when everything is going to change for you!

Like when my Dad had his heart attack 4 years ago… that changed all of our lives – in a white hot flash!

So I want you to evaluate your life, right now.

How are your relationships going?

How is your health?

How is your finances?

Play with me for a second…

Let’s pretend something, the worst type of thing, happened to us, tomorrow…

and we had 30 minutes to lie there, before death’s final toll were to come and we go up to Heaven. (or wherever you believe you go, reincarnated, etc.)

If your time were to come, would those last precious moments be filled with “I wish I had _____”…

and then a huge, long list of stuff you always said you’d do “one day” or “when the time is right”…

or would your last thoughts be, “I’m so grateful for ______”.

You don’t need to answer me…

Having interviewed countless hundreds of people of all ages…

I know that approximately 19/20 people have more “wishes” than “gratitudes”…

and if it’s important to you to have more free time, and more money so that you could actually do the things you want to do with all of that free time…

Seeing all of those loved ones you “never have the time to”…

Visiting all of those exotic places around the world… like where your ancestors are from…

Getting to go to the courses, masterminds, and get the education you know you deserve – but at current pace can’t afford…

I have the only solution that I can recommend…

what’s taken me the better part of a decade to finally find in my entrepreneurial journey.

and it’s already changed the lives of some of my close friends… including my entire family and allowed me to retire all of my parents… and ….

it doesn’t matter what it’s done for me… it matters what this can do for you!
