Fastest Vlog Post

I’m already 1 minute, and 8 seconds into writing/shooting the fastest vlog post.

The goal of creating the fastest vlog post is to get a benchmark in how quickly I can complete my 2012 blogging challenge.

YouTube Preview Image

This challenge will need the skill of writing the fastest vlog post because I have somewhere around 365 posts and 365 videos to get up here in 2012.

I’m also optimizing the “on page SEO” for the keyword of fastest vlog post.

In preparation for writing the world’s fastest vlog post, I made sure I was fully setup to get a good benchmark as follows:

  • Shut down gmail
  • Queued up music (Tony Robbins subliminal tracks – LOVE them!)
  • Went to restroom
  • Phone – forgot to turn off as it just rang…just silenced it.

What is my goal of creating a post titled fastest vlog post?

The goal is to have an absolute minimum time frame of how long it takes me to get out a vlog post.

Steps in creating the Fastest Vlog Post

  • write the article – (0 to 16 minute mark – 16 minutes total)
  • do on page SEO (from 32 to 40 minute mark – 8 minutes total; with the help of Easy WP SEO)
  • shoot the video (16 – 26 minute mark 10 minutes total)
  • edit the video (26 – 32 minute mark – 6 minutes total)
  • render the video (32 – 40 minute mark – 8 minutes total)
  • upload the video (40 – 65 minute mark – 25 minutes total)
  • Publish the fastest vlog post (at 65 minutes total process time)

Total time to publish the fastest vlog post: 65 minutes

I’m about 8 minutes into writing this article, and have about 200 words. My goal is to have 400+ words in all of my posts.  I was going to go shoot the video right now…but then I realized that I may miss out on some good points…so I will wait until the post is mostly written. (and now this whole sentence feels a bit like those college papers where you’re just writing in filler words…so I’ll stretch this post out to 450-500 words)

:)

Creating the fastest vlog post is truly of interest to me, as it’s an honest question I’ve had in mind for several months.

I started a 60 day blog challenge back in late 2011…and only completed around 7-10 of the posts of the 60.

I learned some lessons from it, and one of those lessons is that I have a limiting belief around how long it takes to do a vlog post.  I then “upped my game” to do a post & video EVERY day in 2012. (with goals of getting 100,000 unique visitors/month, and becoming even better at copywriting, video production/editing, etc.)

One of the things that STOPPED me during the 60 day blog challenge was not feeling as if I “had the time” to do this every day.

Writing the fastest vlog post is a direct attack on that limiting belief.

(Side note, I’m over 400 words right now, and it took me 13 minutes and 30 seconds.  I type pretty fast…but I’m confident that those of you doing just a “blog” challenge can easily, EASILY do a single blog post every day within a 60 minute window…even if you only type at 10-20 WPM.  Especially since 10 WPM, multiplied by 60 minutes, is a 600 word article.)

:)

Lessons during the fastest blog post:

  • As expected, the majority of the time was in uploading to YouTube, then YouTube processing the video. (YouTube “processing” seemed to “hang” at the 95% mark for 3-5 minutes)
  • I was even able to reply to a few emails during this process!

The times for the fastest vlog post were filled in as I completed them. (the timer kept running throughout)

Internet MLM Guru – Are You The Next One?

Are you looking for an internet MLM guru?

What if I told you that despite your beliefs, YOU can become the next internet MLM guru!

YouTube Preview Image

Back in May of 2006, I also had a dream to become an internet MLM guru…but it was only a dream.

I didn’t know the right “path” to making it to the top.

I didn’t know what skills I had to learn, and I didn’t what action to take.

I was frustrated because I was spending money and getting nothing in return, and I was also spending many hours on techniques that weren’t working…

Then – I met my first internet MLM guru, and things started to change…

I got my first downline member, a complete stranger, through the power of internet marketing.

They even signed up into my downline without me cold calling them, or trying to explain how “I’m an internet MLM guru and this is not a pyramid scheme!” – LOL!

From that day forward, I knew I would never again have to try to recruit friends or family…

I would never again have to make another cold call…

Internet MLM GuruI would become the next internet MLM guru!

Fast forward to early 2012, and some people have called me an internet mlm guru…

Although I always argue that I’m just a normal guy, the reality is that:

  • I have built downline teams to date of over 30,000 members
  • I have taken off 9 months of the past 24 (residual income rocks!)
  • I have enjoyed a 5 figure monthly income for the past 3 years

Does the above make me an internet MLM guru?

I have no idea, once again…I’M JUST A NORMAL GUY!

But I can tell you some of what has helped to achieve my success to date.

Traits Of A Successful Internet MLM Guru

  • Being a good follower/student
    • Any internet MLM guru is first a good student.  Find someone who has already accomplished what you are trying to, and do what they did to have their success.
  • Learn the correct internet MLM guru skills
    • Any profession, career, business, or undertaking requires certain skills.  Skills are abilities that ANYONE, from ANY background can learn, including YOU!
  • Take massive action like the “gurus”!
    • You need to invest your time, your money, and most importantly your blood, sweat, and tears. (Collectively called “your heart”)  Stay up later, get up earlier, invest an extra 5-20% of your income…this is what the successful entrepreneurs do!
  • Put other people’s needs before your own
    • Do you hate your job?  Forget about it, and help your new downline member get out of the job that THEY hate!
    • Are you about to pay your auto payment late this month?  Forget about it, focus on your team member who has to figure out how to pay their own late payment!
    • Did you just get in a fight with your spouse?  Forget about it, and go serve the person on your team who just went through a divorce!
    • In short, follow one of my favorite quotes, “You can have everything you want in life, if you can help enough others get what they want” – Zig Ziglar
  • Invest into yourself first! (Personal Development)
    • Simple stated through another quote, “Invest more into yourself, than you do into your job, and you’ll be unusually successful.”
  • Do not EVER stop until you reach your goals!
    • A secret of the internet MLM guru – You have to FAIL, many times, before you will succeed!  Understand that failing is part of the learning process in becoming successful – sometimes this distinction alone is what helps you to become the next internet MLM guru.

In summary, you really did find the next internet MLM guru…and they are sitting in the very chair YOU are sitting in right now!

YOU are the next Internet MLM Guru!

Now get out there and make your dreams a reality!

If you have any questions at all – reach out as I am here to serve YOU! (or enter your name & email and learn more about the specific steps for you to become the next internet MLM guru!)

Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge

Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge is all about learning how to blog, learning how to get “SEO traffic”, and improving a skill that will be valuable throughout your lifetime.

YouTube Preview Image

Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge was developed from several experiences I’ve had over the past few years.

  • Watching current & former team members get massive “sales” online, while doing next to no marketing.
  • Losing my Google adwords (and adsense) accounts and realizing I can’t rely only on PPC marketing.
  • The desire to get more traffic online, while putting in less “time and/or ad money”.

Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge has also stemmed from a few ideas I’ve been presented with in the past few months, mostly around “blogging every day” and different groups having you do that for 30-100 days.

Hopefully you’ve heard of The Success Formula, which is:

Success = Skills x Action

Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge is me setting a higher standard, and simply putting more “action” in than the typical 30-100 day challenge. (which should increase the “success”)

Goals of Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge

Starting out, Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge has a goal of me writing 1 blog post every day, as well as posting one corresponding or related video on the blog each day.

At the end of 2012, the current goal is to have 365 blog posts, with 365 videos created by Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge.

As with entrepreneurial goal setting, this goal may be adjusted throughout the year.  The real result of Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge is that I’m looking to have 100,000 unique SEO visitors per month by December 2012.

So if Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge is able to get that result by posting only 150 blog posts & 150 videos, that’s what I’ll do.

Jason's 2012 Blogging Challenge

I also plan to use Mike Koenig’s Traffic Geyser to post the videos I create across many different video platforms.  It’s possible that the videos will contribute a significant amount of the traffic coming into my blog. (We shall see)

Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge is not just about blogging, creating videos, or even getting 100,000 unique visitors per month…

It’s about the PROCESS of becoming a master of copywriting, blogging, conversions, video production & editing.  It’s about mastering these skills to be consciously competent with them, all while providing massive value to humanity.

This is the true value in Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge, the skills that you and I will gain along the way.

Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge is an example of the millionaire saying, “Don’t become a millionaire for the money, but for the person you have to become to get the million dollars.”

A new saying has been created: “Don’t do Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge to get 100,000 visitors to your blog, but for the skills you have to gain to get 100,000 visitors to a blog.” (Those skills will be with you for a lifetime)

So follow my feed, subscribe to my list, or whatever it takes to follow along.  Let’s go out in 2012 and take massive action, learn new skills, and make a positive impact on humanity!

To YOUR Ultimate Success,

Jason Cardamone

Empower Network Review – Industry Top Leader Gives The Inside Story

Empower Network claims to pay out 100% commissions…

This Empower Network Review reveals an industry top leader’s view on just how they can do this, and the pros & cons of this very fast growing company.

YouTube Preview Image

Empower Network link from above Video

PS – I made a mistake in the “comp plan” in the above video…the compensation plan DOES allow you to get passups from below your 1st level.  So it’s fair to say the Empower Network compensation plan is actually more generous/advantageous than I mention in the video.

I have much to say, but will stick mostly with the bullet point “quick version” of the review.

(You can learn more from the above video)

Empower Network Review – The good:

  • They literally do pay out 100% commissions to you (more on the comp plan in the below “bad” area)
  • You can instantly have a high page rank WordPress site up and ready to blog on
  • Everything inside is geared to you getting content out immediately & consistently
  • You can have nice incoming backlinks from your Empower Network blog
  • Making Empower Network part of your “blog network” will create synergy & “link juice” for all of your blogging activities
  • The psychology & training inside of Empower Network is of high quality & ethics

Empower Network Review – the bad:

  • You don’t have control of the plugins for your site
  • You don’t control the url and you can’t fully optimize for keywords
  • There is lowered leverage beyond your personal enrollments. (You can receive 20-50% “passups” from your personal referrals, 4-25% of the passups from your level 2, 0.8-12.5% of the passups from your level 3, etc.)  Note this is also an advantage as over time, your level 2, 3, 4, etc…will grow to be much larger than your personal level 1.

What really got me to explore the company and do this Empower Network Review was hearing of the success of one of my former downline members who had already joined the Empower Network.

I’ve been “preaching” the need for people to blog & grow their SEO presense online for almost 2 years now.

My former downline member, Bernie, explained to me how he started blogging almost every day.

This only happened once he joined Empower Network.

This was truly the “tipping point” for me to take a serious look and find out everything I could about Empower Network.

Why?

Because for someone to start taking that much action…that can only happen from the right teaching & the right environment.

That very environment is inside the “CORE Checklist” inside of the Empower Network.

I hope this Empower Network Review was able to serve you and help you to make an informed decision from insider’s information.

To YOUR Ultimate Success,

Jason Cardamone

Pay Yourself First – Complete freedom with residual SEO traffic

You may have heard someone tell you “you should always pay yourself first”.  This is an important concept if you are looking to create financial freedom.

I’m going to introduce the idea of applying this to your residual SEO traffic efforts. (“Pay Yourself First with traffic”)

The power of creating residual SEO traffic has been known for many years.  The recent explosion of blogging has created even more entrepreneurs that have attracted in residual SEO traffic and made their first dollar online. (Or their first $100, $10,000, or even first million)

Residual SEO traffic refers to traffic that will continuously find it’s way to your blog, video, site, or article.  From there…it’s up to you to have something that has a high chance of converting to creating money in your pocket. (If you need help there -> start with Empower Network)

So now you’re probably asking yourself – how specifically do you Pay Yourself First with residual SEO traffic?

You pay yourself first by doing your video creation, product creation, article writing, blog posting as the FIRST thing you do in your business.

You pay yourself first by NOT checking emails, NOT answering phone calls, and NOT doing the trash.

(of course you’ll want to do the trash at some point so your house doesn’t turn into a landfill…but wait until after you’ve already written the blog post, created the video, etc.)

I was first introduced to the pay yourself first concept, in a financial sense, by Robert Kiyosaki in Rich Dad Poor Dad.

Here you can read more about Rich Dad’s pay yourself first teachings.

I began to realize the need to apply that to my “income producing activities” when my internet network marketing teams started to grow to tens of thousands of people. (It’s easy to handle the emails & phone calls for a team of 5-10 people…but a different challenge when you have a team of 17,000)

I’ve actually been to the point that because I was not paying myself first by creating my own content as my top priority, I got to where my income “flatlined”.

It didn’t flatline like “death”…but it flatlined in the sense that my income no longer increased on a monthly basis.

I’m not at all saying to ignore your emails & phone calls as customer service should be one of your highest priorities.

I AM saying to pay yourself first by doing your content creation as your top priority.

The Pay Yourself First Challenge

Let’s look at an example:

You have 30 minutes before you have to leave your house for work.

You look down at your blackberry or iphone and see that you have 3 emails that are from some of your downline members.

Just as you’re seeing you have 3 emails, your phone rings.

This is your deciding moment!

If you are an effective entrepreneur, you pay yourself first!

You choose to put the phone down, let the call go to voicemail, and leave the emails to be answered later on…

With those precious 30 minutes, you choose to write your blog post, create your video, etc.

By choosing to pay yourself first on a regular basis, you will have residual SEO traffic coming to you for months & years to come.

To YOUR Ultimate Success,

Jason Cardamone

I’ve played soccer for 30 years of my life, and I have a very inspirational story to share with you today.

But – This soccer story is not mine…it is of someone whom I have been close with over the years…

The morals of this story are to never quit, and do NOT take your dreams with you to the grave.  If you enjoyed the movie “Rudy”, you will enjoy today’s video. (and even if you didn’t see or like Rudy…there are very important business & life lessons taught in this video)

I do have to warn you, this story turned out to be 35 minutes long!  I didn’t plan that length when I shot the video, but I promise you it will be worth your time.

If you don’t really like movies or stories…I recommend you fast forward to 17:30 in the video.

(For those keeping track – this is Day 6 of Jason Cardamone’s 60 Day Blogging Challenge)

Welcome to Day 5 of my 60 Day Blogging Challenge.

Today is all about being an entrepreneur and how to “Roll with the punches“.

The reality is that even for a non-entrepreneur, our world is changing very quickly.  You have to be adaptable/flexible and prepare for anything to happen.

I explain some of the thick skin that I’ve grown over the years, specifically around being hacked & my financial information compromised.

(and as always, a little dose of you using your imagination & visualizing what you life is like as you’re making 6 & 7 figures/month…)

Welcome to day 4 of the 60 Day Blogging Challenge!

Come and jump in my car with me as I’m leaving my neighborhood, and let’s chat about why you should consider creating a residual income.

YouTube Preview Image

I remember first hearing about creating residual income, and what it could mean for one’s life, and I instantly “got it”.

The idea that it was possible to make money while you sleep, or being able to take off more than the typical 2-4 weeks of vacation time, was very attractive to me.

Seeking ways to create residual income became my new mission…and I instantly jumped in and began my pursuit.

I sought out others who had created residual income, and started to learn what they did to make it happen.

In seeking residual income, the book that ultimately had a major impact on my journey was “Multiple Streams Of Income”, by Robert G. Allen.  Stock market, real estate investing, securing creative financing, buying foreclosures and tax liens, network marketing, information and product licensing, and internet marketing.

Somewhere deep inside, I KNEW that I could make it happen, although I thought it would happen much more quickly than it ultimately did.  But that story, is a longer one that we’ll cover in a different vlog post.

It’s time for action steps!

Have you identified the vehicle that you will use to create residual income for yourself? If you’re on this vlog, you’re likely looking into internet network marketing.

Have you identified the company(ies) that you will work with?  Have you identified a mentor who can help shortcut your journey in creating residual income?  Do you have an internet network marketing system that’s proven?

If you have not identified the above, then start doing so RIGHT NOW!  Life is short, you can’t afford to delay your time freedom any longer.

If you have identified your company, mentor, and system, then RIGHT NOW call, skype, email, or contact your mentor and do exactly as they guide you to.  As mentioned, life is short, and if you’ve already identified the vehicle, get in it and pedal to the metal!

To YOUR Ultimate Success,

Jason Cardamone

Day 3 of my 60 Day Blogging Challenge is here!

Are you prepared to climb that mountain in front of you?

Today is my attempt at inspiring you in your journey in reaching your destiny!

This video is truly a mix of the “One Man Wolf Pack” speech from The Hangover, the Blair Witch Project, Jason Cardamone crying, all blended together in an attempt to inspire you.

The crazy thing is that this video was NOT planned at all.

I was driving up a hill, and I knew that at the top of the hill, the view opens up to reveal the Colorado Rocky Mountains spanning the horizon.

I didn’t know what I would say as I quickly grabbed my Flip Video HD Camera…

Here is what resulted:

YouTube Preview Image

As you can tell, I got pretty intense.

During the part when you can see tears in my eyes and my voice cracking…THAT part was for YOU!

What I mean is that I literally was thinking about all of the people who are afraid to reach their destiny.

They’ve allowed the influential people in their life to beat down their dreams.

Have you ever let this happen?

What dreams did you have as a child, or a teenager, that you have long since given up on?

What situation/lesson/experience was it that had you let go of your dream?

How many dreams have you let go of?

Are you sad/depressed now?

Don’t quit on your dreams!  Don’t you DARE ever quit!

The GREAT thing is that, at any time, we can choose to take action on our dreams.

Yes, I used the word choose.

That word implies that YOU have the power to take action on your dreams.

Do NOT take your dreams to the grave with you, as you were meant to make a major positive impact with your time here on Earth!

As always…time for ACTION STEPS!

Let me know what YOU are going to do differently in the coming week, and the rest of 2011.

What is the mountain that you will FIRST climb?

What is your BIGGER mountain back in the distance?

To YOUR Ultimate Success,

Jason Cardamone
