Fastest Vlog Post

I’m already 1 minute, and 8 seconds into writing/shooting the fastest vlog post.

The goal of creating the fastest vlog post is to get a benchmark in how quickly I can complete my 2012 blogging challenge.

YouTube Preview Image

This challenge will need the skill of writing the fastest vlog post because I have somewhere around 365 posts and 365 videos to get up here in 2012.

I’m also optimizing the “on page SEO” for the keyword of fastest vlog post.

In preparation for writing the world’s fastest vlog post, I made sure I was fully setup to get a good benchmark as follows:

  • Shut down gmail
  • Queued up music (Tony Robbins subliminal tracks – LOVE them!)
  • Went to restroom
  • Phone – forgot to turn off as it just rang…just silenced it.

What is my goal of creating a post titled fastest vlog post?

The goal is to have an absolute minimum time frame of how long it takes me to get out a vlog post.

Steps in creating the Fastest Vlog Post

  • write the article – (0 to 16 minute mark – 16 minutes total)
  • do on page SEO (from 32 to 40 minute mark – 8 minutes total; with the help of Easy WP SEO)
  • shoot the video (16 – 26 minute mark 10 minutes total)
  • edit the video (26 – 32 minute mark – 6 minutes total)
  • render the video (32 – 40 minute mark – 8 minutes total)
  • upload the video (40 – 65 minute mark – 25 minutes total)
  • Publish the fastest vlog post (at 65 minutes total process time)

Total time to publish the fastest vlog post: 65 minutes

I’m about 8 minutes into writing this article, and have about 200 words. My goal is to have 400+ words in all of my posts.  I was going to go shoot the video right now…but then I realized that I may miss out on some good points…so I will wait until the post is mostly written. (and now this whole sentence feels a bit like those college papers where you’re just writing in filler words…so I’ll stretch this post out to 450-500 words)

:)

Creating the fastest vlog post is truly of interest to me, as it’s an honest question I’ve had in mind for several months.

I started a 60 day blog challenge back in late 2011…and only completed around 7-10 of the posts of the 60.

I learned some lessons from it, and one of those lessons is that I have a limiting belief around how long it takes to do a vlog post.  I then “upped my game” to do a post & video EVERY day in 2012. (with goals of getting 100,000 unique visitors/month, and becoming even better at copywriting, video production/editing, etc.)

One of the things that STOPPED me during the 60 day blog challenge was not feeling as if I “had the time” to do this every day.

Writing the fastest vlog post is a direct attack on that limiting belief.

(Side note, I’m over 400 words right now, and it took me 13 minutes and 30 seconds.  I type pretty fast…but I’m confident that those of you doing just a “blog” challenge can easily, EASILY do a single blog post every day within a 60 minute window…even if you only type at 10-20 WPM.  Especially since 10 WPM, multiplied by 60 minutes, is a 600 word article.)

:)

Lessons during the fastest blog post:

  • As expected, the majority of the time was in uploading to YouTube, then YouTube processing the video. (YouTube “processing” seemed to “hang” at the 95% mark for 3-5 minutes)
  • I was even able to reply to a few emails during this process!

The times for the fastest vlog post were filled in as I completed them. (the timer kept running throughout)

Internet MLM Guru – Are You The Next One?

Are you looking for an internet MLM guru?

What if I told you that despite your beliefs, YOU can become the next internet MLM guru!

YouTube Preview Image

Back in May of 2006, I also had a dream to become an internet MLM guru…but it was only a dream.

I didn’t know the right “path” to making it to the top.

I didn’t know what skills I had to learn, and I didn’t what action to take.

I was frustrated because I was spending money and getting nothing in return, and I was also spending many hours on techniques that weren’t working…

Then – I met my first internet MLM guru, and things started to change…

I got my first downline member, a complete stranger, through the power of internet marketing.

They even signed up into my downline without me cold calling them, or trying to explain how “I’m an internet MLM guru and this is not a pyramid scheme!” – LOL!

From that day forward, I knew I would never again have to try to recruit friends or family…

I would never again have to make another cold call…

Internet MLM GuruI would become the next internet MLM guru!

Fast forward to early 2012, and some people have called me an internet mlm guru…

Although I always argue that I’m just a normal guy, the reality is that:

  • I have built downline teams to date of over 30,000 members
  • I have taken off 9 months of the past 24 (residual income rocks!)
  • I have enjoyed a 5 figure monthly income for the past 3 years

Does the above make me an internet MLM guru?

I have no idea, once again…I’M JUST A NORMAL GUY!

But I can tell you some of what has helped to achieve my success to date.

Traits Of A Successful Internet MLM Guru

  • Being a good follower/student
    • Any internet MLM guru is first a good student.  Find someone who has already accomplished what you are trying to, and do what they did to have their success.
  • Learn the correct internet MLM guru skills
    • Any profession, career, business, or undertaking requires certain skills.  Skills are abilities that ANYONE, from ANY background can learn, including YOU!
  • Take massive action like the “gurus”!
    • You need to invest your time, your money, and most importantly your blood, sweat, and tears. (Collectively called “your heart”)  Stay up later, get up earlier, invest an extra 5-20% of your income…this is what the successful entrepreneurs do!
  • Put other people’s needs before your own
    • Do you hate your job?  Forget about it, and help your new downline member get out of the job that THEY hate!
    • Are you about to pay your auto payment late this month?  Forget about it, focus on your team member who has to figure out how to pay their own late payment!
    • Did you just get in a fight with your spouse?  Forget about it, and go serve the person on your team who just went through a divorce!
    • In short, follow one of my favorite quotes, “You can have everything you want in life, if you can help enough others get what they want” – Zig Ziglar
  • Invest into yourself first! (Personal Development)
    • Simple stated through another quote, “Invest more into yourself, than you do into your job, and you’ll be unusually successful.”
  • Do not EVER stop until you reach your goals!
    • A secret of the internet MLM guru – You have to FAIL, many times, before you will succeed!  Understand that failing is part of the learning process in becoming successful – sometimes this distinction alone is what helps you to become the next internet MLM guru.

In summary, you really did find the next internet MLM guru…and they are sitting in the very chair YOU are sitting in right now!

YOU are the next Internet MLM Guru!

Now get out there and make your dreams a reality!

Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge

Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge is all about learning how to blog, learning how to get “SEO traffic”, and improving a skill that will be valuable throughout your lifetime.

YouTube Preview Image

Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge was developed from several experiences I’ve had over the past few years.

  • Watching current & former team members get massive “sales” online, while doing next to no marketing.
  • Losing my Google adwords (and adsense) accounts and realizing I can’t rely only on PPC marketing.
  • The desire to get more traffic online, while putting in less “time and/or ad money”.

Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge has also stemmed from a few ideas I’ve been presented with in the past few months, mostly around “blogging every day” and different groups having you do that for 30-100 days.

Hopefully you’ve heard of The Success Formula, which is:

Success = Skills x Action

Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge is me setting a higher standard, and simply putting more “action” in than the typical 30-100 day challenge. (which should increase the “success”)

Goals of Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge

Starting out, Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge has a goal of me writing 1 blog post every day, as well as posting one corresponding or related video on the blog each day.

At the end of 2012, the current goal is to have 365 blog posts, with 365 videos created by Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge.

As with entrepreneurial goal setting, this goal may be adjusted throughout the year.  The real result of Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge is that I’m looking to have 100,000 unique SEO visitors per month by December 2012.

So if Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge is able to get that result by posting only 150 blog posts & 150 videos, that’s what I’ll do.

Jason's 2012 Blogging Challenge

I also plan to use Mike Koenig’s Traffic Geyser to post the videos I create across many different video platforms.  It’s possible that the videos will contribute a significant amount of the traffic coming into my blog. (We shall see)

Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge is not just about blogging, creating videos, or even getting 100,000 unique visitors per month…

It’s about the PROCESS of becoming a master of copywriting, blogging, conversions, video production & editing.  It’s about mastering these skills to be consciously competent with them, all while providing massive value to humanity.

This is the true value in Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge, the skills that you and I will gain along the way.

Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge is an example of the millionaire saying, “Don’t become a millionaire for the money, but for the person you have to become to get the million dollars.”

A new saying has been created: “Don’t do Jason’s 2012 Blogging Challenge to get 100,000 visitors to your blog, but for the skills you have to gain to get 100,000 visitors to a blog.” (Those skills will be with you for a lifetime)

So follow my feed, subscribe to my list, or whatever it takes to follow along.  Let’s go out in 2012 and take massive action, learn new skills, and make a positive impact on humanity!

To YOUR Ultimate Success,

Jason Cardamone
