Day 2 of the 60 Day Blogging Challenge

If you’ve ever wanted to see Jason Cardamone making a complete fool of himself, you HAVE to see this!

Golfing in shorts & a golf shirt…in the SNOW?  You’ve lost your mind Jason!

Today’s video is all about expanding your comfort zone.

It’s also about taking a step back, looking at what you’re trying to accomplish, and making sure you’re being efficient.

Today’s challenge for YOU – 2 parts today:

  1. Do 1 thing to expand your comfort zone!
  2. Identify something in your life that you can be more efficient at!

Be sure you ALWAYS take action on everything you “learn”.  It’s of no use to you to just learn a bunch of stuff and never take action on it.  Taking action is what separates the most successful people in the world from the masses.

Here are a few ideas on expanding your comfort zone:

  • Say “hi” to a complete stranger (If that’s too scary…at least SMILE at someone you would’ve have normally smiled at!)
  • Go out of your way to open a door for someone
  • Introduce yourself to a person you’ve never met. (or maybe someone you’ve never spoken to before)
  • Get to work, or the gym, 10 minutes EARLIER than you normally do
  • Drive to work, or drive home, in a DIFFERENT path than you normally do!
  • Make or try a new breakfast, lunch, dinner that you’ve never made before. (Or order a new set of food that you’ve never ordered before at a restaurant)

Here are a few ideas on things you may be able to be more efficient at:

  • Learn to use the internet to grow your business, get more calls, get more leads, get more prospects, etc. (If you want help here…ASK ME…this is a HUGE part of my life!)  :)
  • Drive to work in a car as opposed to walking or riding your bike
  • RIDE to work in a bus, and do personal development the whole way there
  • Get a headset for your cell phone, and call prospects/speak to teammates the whole drive to work.
  • Get a flip cam and shoot HD videos instead of using that clip on webcam from 2005.
  • Instead of sending a normal email, send a Video Email to your friends/family members/business partners that live in another state.
  • Instead of doing a blog post yourself, outsource your next post!
  • Go to the bank & the store on the way to/from work. (Instead of taking a separate trip)

Leave a comment below and let me know what YOU are doing to expand your comfort zone, and also what you’re doing to be more efficient.

It’s imperative that YOU raise your standards, and I have the perfect blogging challenge for you!

If you study successful people for long enough, you’ll discover that they all have 1 thing in common, they ALL have a higher level of standards for themselves!

Considering how I embarrassingly haven’t posted a new blog post in nearly 6 months, I am raising my own standards and challenging myself. (I’m also making a written, public commitment, which magnifies the chances that I will follow through on this goal.  You should publicly declare & write your goal(s) as well!)

This video explains how I came to this decision, and what the blogging part of my life is going to look like for the remainder of 2011:

Will you take me up on the challenge?  If so, leave a written, publicly declared comment below and let me know what you’re going to do here over the rest of 2011.  Make it challenging and slightly OUT of your comfort zone!

I had a particularly difficult person I was working with the other day.

YouTube Preview Image

I speak of how much to work with a person like this, and when you may want to let them go. (What? It may depend on how large your team is?)

I show a great technique on how to instantly change your “state”…which affects your emotions. (You can use this to change any emotion you’re feeling, sad, depressed, angry, etc.  You can even use this technique to change when you’re happy, excited, etc.  Many of us will change from a “good” emotional state to a “bad” emotional state unconsciously, and we can’t figure out why we’re not happy all the time!)

I address how to keep good communication among your upline and downline members. (I’ve pioneered this type of communication in our industry…I don’t give you the full scoop here…but you can read between the lines and probably figure it out)

I also speak of human nature, and while most of your first instincts are to “fight” when you (or someone you love) is being attacked…maybe there is another solution?

PS – I start to “recap” this video like 2 or 3 separate times…sorry for that…I didn’t plan this video out.  I just shot it shortly after the “situation” occurred.  I do end up teaching 3-4 separate subjects from this one situation…and each of them probably deserve their own vlog post…but it is what it is!

Hey Guys!

So this vlog post was inspired by an email that I just answered a few minutes ago.  It has to do with a person who’s come into a really hard situation in their life, and they were asking me for advice & help.

I’ll put the video right here, but then also post the entire email thread down below this video.

Please note that in the below email, I’ve changed all names so that this person is not identifiable.

Great to hear from you Christine!  Sorry we missed you the coaching webinar last night…or maybe you were there?

Hi Jason,

Yes, I am very interested in having you take me on as a student and
coaching me.  It is what I have been searching for online for so long
now.  I have fallen victim to some of the less honest individuals out
there who have promised me the moon, taken my money and given me
nothing in return.  I am ready to get going with someone who will
really help me and I am so willing to learn.  I am willing to do
whatever it takes to succeed.  But, I have a real and pressing problem
at the moment and I do not know what to do or where to turn, so I
really hope that you are able to help me.

Before I tell my story, let me introduce myself.  My name is Christine
and I am 32 years old.  I live in Cape Town, South Africa.  I
have one amazing son, [edited out by Jason] and he is 2.  I am hoping to have
another child as soon as I have my feet back on solid ground.  I am
hardworking, honest and good at following instructions.  I always see
the good in other people and despite my lack of success online, I
still honestly believe that it is possible to earn a good income
online and improve my life, not so much for myself, but for my son and
for his future.

I also believe people are good at their core….and I can definitely say that being teachable, hardworking, and honest and 3 of the most essential characteristics you need to have success!

Though I am extremely eager to be taught how to earn online, I have to
take care of my current situation immediately as it is eating at me.

This is my situation.  I lost my job in January and I have been unable
to get another one.  I have not paid any of my bills since end Jan and
I am at a point where I think the bank is going to come and collect my
car if I do not pay them soon.  My cellphone is going to be terminated
in the next 3 days and I need to pay my son’s daycare fees by Friday
at the latest.  Last month, out of desperation, I pawned off my
wedding ring and unless I can produce the money Monday, I will not get
it back.

I am so desperate, I just want to crawl into a hole, but I need to
stay strong and focused as I have my son to think about.

I know that earning a good income is not just a pipe dream, but can be
done.  I just need someone that is willing to help me and take me by
the hand and teach me how to do it right.  I am eager to learn, I just
need the guidance.

I have been trying to obtain a loan to help me out of my current
financial crisis, but unfortunately none of the financial institutions
in SA will offer me a loan if I am unemployed.  I tried to obtain a
loan online, but I seem to only be finding scam artists!  I even
attempted Peer 2 Peer lending, but it does not seem to be available in
SA.

At this point I don’t really know what else to do!  It is so
frustrating because I really am an honest and good person and if I
could get this loan, and find someone willing to teach me how to make
money online, I would most definitely honor my debt, and also be
eternally grateful!!!

If there is anything that you could do to help me I would really
appreciate it.  I need a loan of 5000USD to get out of my current
situation, and then I need to be taught how to make the money online
so that I never have to be faced with this situation again.

I know that you do not know me at all, and that I have absolutely no
right to ask this of you, but unfortunately I have come to a point
where I just do not have any other options left.  At the end of the
day, I am not doing this for myself, I am doing it for my son.

I am willing to sign a document and supply you with any personal
details that you require.

Thank you,

Christine

Hey Christine – I have very much I can help you with.

So…6 years ago…I lost everything – my house, my car…and nearly my wife & newborn son at the time.

I understand what you’re going through…and here’s the very best advice I can offer…

I’ve learned that everything is a gift to us, and it always has a purpose, and is here to serve us.

Try to fast forward to 5 years from now, looking back at your 32 year old self.  Picture your new life 5 years from now, in 2016.  Look at how happy you and your son are…look at the amazing life you’ve created.
Looking back to 2011, what did you learn from this situation?  How was it a blessing to you?  What actions/skills/learning did you have to do to move forward and create this incredible lifestyle you now have in 2016?

Then…when you get answers about what you had to learn and what you had to do…take MASSIVE action on those lessons & learnings.

I have learned that just “giving” people money does NOT solve their problems.  It’s like the saying, “give a man a fish, and feed him for a day.  Teach a man to fish, and feed him for a lifetime”.  You will be presented with many problems over the course of your life…which is why it’s essential for you to become the person that doesn’t panic in any of those situations…but you see the good and realize everything is there to teach you a lesson(s).

I hope that helps Christine!  Reach out if you have any questions.  If I don’t hear from you…may you reach your highest God-given potential in life…and God Bless!

The core of this post is about “scheduling”.

I haven’t had a schedule for over 2 years now…come and watch the experiment about what happens in my life when I throw one back into the mix.

YouTube Preview Image

One of my “core values” is freedom, and putting a schedule onto my life feels a bit restrictive.  But, I thought of doing this as I was not living to my highest standards in life, so wanted to create a little more accountability for the many activities in my life.

In the comment section below, let me know your experiences with schedules – do you like ‘em or hate ‘em?

My annual Christmas message for 2010.

This year was special because I FINALLY talked my wife into being in the family part of the video!  :)

YouTube Preview Image

I cover several ways on how you can capture both the good and the bad from 2010, and how to apply both sets of lessons to launch into 2011 with MASSIVE momentum!

(I also speak of the importance of creating rituals and how your entire destiny is created through your daily actions)

WARNING!  This video contains explicit lyrics!

YouTube Preview Image

It’s the first time across the hundreds of webinars & videos I’ve done that I ever drop the “f bomb”. (and I also drop a “p bomb”)

This language is not meant to offend…but to trigger a psychological response in you.  I purposely left it in the video as it was natural and deliberate when I said it…and I wanted you to “feel” how painful it was to experience what I speak of in the video. (and I promise to rarely cuss like this in future videos)

This video reinforces what I’ve been focusing on about problems being blessings and chances for us to grow from.  Keep in mind that we’re always either growing or dying…so if you aren’t growing from your problems…then you’re dying!

It was really incredible to be thrown into such “dramatic” events immediately upon the conclusion of Date With Destiny.  It was an exciting opportunity for me to feel out my new destiny that I created those 6 days at Date With Destiny…and WOW do the results feel absolutely fantastic!

About 5 minutes after shooting the previous video…A very interesting event occurred in my life.

YouTube Preview Image

The majority of the world would call this event a “complete nightmare”.

The person I’ve become through Date With Destiny has a different way to view this situation, and if memory serves correctly I even “dare” to call it a blessing.

The reality is that while we don’t have control of the events in our lives…we DO choose the meaning we give to these events.  Since DWD, I have chosen to label the vast majority of all of the events occurring in my life as blessings. (whether they appear to be “good” or “bad” events)

It is my belief that I was meant to be “tested” immediately following Date With Destiny…and I’m also meant to be tested frequently.  It is my belief that we grow the most from the problems we face and overcome…which leads us to be able to deal with even larger problems. (or “higher quality” problems as Tony would put it)

I have achieved more than the average internet network marketer simply because I have faced and overcame more problems than the average internet network marketer.

I challenge you to look at your problems as gifts & blessings sent into your life to allow you to grow & graduate to get to have higher quality problems. (failure to face these blessings at this point will doom you to eternally face the same problems over and over again for the rest of your life)

Integration Day!

This is it!…the culmination of 6 days of personal development from the master teacher of millions of others – Tony Robbins.

YouTube Preview Image

This video starts out as I take you on a tour around the venue as things are closing out. (I finally make some use of my handy little “flip” camera)  I also run into a top network marketing trainer that I had met the month before at Unleash The Power Within. (although I just missed Jonathan Budd…he and I had spoke about 30 minutes prior to the opening of this video…but once again I didn’t have my “flip” on me at the time)

I won’t ruin any surprises…but what’s really incredible is the angel that comes and blesses my life about 5 minutes after I shot the above video! (and yes I recorded much of my experience on video…stay tuned for more)

One of the major life shifts that I’ve personally gone through during Date With Destiny is revealed.

YouTube Preview Image

I speak of several events that have “happened” to me during these past 5 days…and every one of them points to:

  • God is at work in your life constantly
  • miracles
  • synchronicity
  • law of attraction

…or whatever words that you like to call it.  I specifically talk about how the “random” people I’ve sat next to each day had the very lessons I came to Date With Destiny to learn.

This leads me to learn how all problems are actually gifts from God, or “angels” sent to us to teach us lessons.  The quality of my life has shot up dramatically from just this mindset alone. (and this is just one of 5-6 main lessons I came away from Date With Destiny with…including many “mini” lessons)
