I don’t really want your home address…
or at least not the home address you’re likely thinking of now…

For the first few decades of my life, my “home address” had numbers, a street name, and a city/state/zip…

yet for the last 11 years I’ve been online… a shift has happened…

and while I’ve met some of the closest people in my life through this thing called “the internet”…

and more specifically “Facebook”, skype, text messages, and phone calls…

and even though I’ve always been pretty “bleeding edge” and highly interested and highly supportive of new technology…

In the recent years I’ve began to see more of a shift in all of humanity.

I mean… the reality is that while I’m about to turn 42… even my grandmother is on Facebook!

(and she doesn’t live here in Colorado… and we absolutely have a closer relationship to each other through this thing called “the internet”)

So here’s where I’m going with this…

have you ever stopped to imagine…

“Where are we going to be in 10 years from now?”

Many experts believe that the growth in technology over the next 10 years…

will be the same amount of change/growth as the past 30 years!

I mean… are you old enough to remember the “Apple IIe”, the “Commodore 64”, “Atari 2600”?

(or the more elusive “Intellivision”, “Coleco Vision”, and “Commodore Vic 20”)

Do you realize the original “Nintendo Game Boy” came out 28 years ago?

and now we have essentially super computers that fit into the palm of our hands… (mobile phones)

that are FAR more powerful than some of the biggest real “super computers” back 30 years ago!

So here’s the question…

Do you think as a society we will be “more online” in the next 10 years?

…or “less online”?

I know that question isn’t really fair… we all know where things are headed.

(but I bet 30 years ago you couldn’t have imagined you’d have a super computer in the palm of your hand… and that you’d be able to communicate virtually face to face with friends & family all around the world…
or that games like “World of Warcraft” would house TENS OF MILLIONS of real players at any given month!)

So since you’ll agree things are going MORE online…

Now let me ask you again… what’s your home address?

In fact… if anything I’ve hurt it by re-doing my entire site and doing the worst possible SEO move you can do… I started over from scratch just within the past year.

The only thing I’ve done is to post a little bit of content over there. (You may even see this exact email over there… Feel free to steal this idea)
